Chia Laguna Resort, on the picturesque south coast of Sardinia, reaffirms itself as a favoured holiday destination this year, with the launch of a series of Campioni Soccer Academies hosted by former Premier League stars.

2025 also sees the return of the Juventus Resort Experience and GZ19 Football Academy.

Each academy provides top-level training and offers young footballers an opportunity to refine their skills in an unparalleled setting, under the guidance of former Premier League legends such as Denis Irwin, stars from Juventus FC and 2006 World Cup winner Gianluca Zambrotta.

New for 2025: Campioni Soccer Academy
A brand-new addition for 2025, Campioni Soccer Academy, founded by former England striker Andrew Johnson, will find a home at Chia Laguna Resort this summer with two training camps, the first from 26th – 30th May, and the second from 7th – 11th July.

Led by former Premier League players, the camps will be directed by Denis Irwin in May, who, during his 12 years at Manchester United, won all major trophies and played in the 1994 World Cup, and Gabby Agbonlahor in July, who spent his entire professional career at Aston Villa.

Making his debut for the Under-21 squad in 2006, Agbonlahor became a Premier League legend, making 400 appearances and scoring 87 goals for Villa, becoming the club’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League era.

The academies offer young footballers an intensive training programme, focused on developing technical and tactical skills in an engaging environment.

The camps include two hours of football coaching per day, leaving plenty of time for families to enjoy Sardinia’s golden sand beaches and turquoise waters, and Chia Laguna Resort’s multitude of restaurants.

Juventus Resort Experience

The popular Juventus Resort Experience returns to Chia Laguna Resort in 2025, with four training camps:
14th – 18th July
28th July – 1st August
18th – 22nd August
25th – 29th August

Under the guidance of qualified coaches from Juventus’ youth academy, young footballers will develop their skills during fun training sessions, whilst immersing themselves in the philosophy and history of the renowned club from Turin.

GZ19 Football Academy by Gianluca Zambrotta

Family-favourite, GZ19 Football Academy, founded by World Cup winner Gianluca Zambrotta, will return to Chia Laguna Resort for three camps this summer, offering young players the chance to train with Zambrotta and other former professionals:
